MEREWAY KITCHENS STRIKE GOLD AT HOUSE BEAUTIFUL AWARDS
For the second year running, leading British kitchen furniture manufacturer Mereway Kitchens clinch a House Beautiful Award - this time striking gold in the Best Value Kitchen category for their stunning “Newark” kitchen.
From Mereway’s popular Complete Kitchen Collection, the Newark kitchen represents affordable beauty and traditional craftsmanship yet without the designer price tag. Featuring a delicate wood-grain texture and a hand-painted look on flat doors, Newark offers a beautiful range of neutral and warm, earthy tones.
The prestigious House Beautiful Awards celebrated its highest attendance this year. The ceremony was hosted at the incredible Science Museum, with the event attended by over 200 short-listed award finalists, designers and popular interior celebrities.
House Beautiful Editor Julia Goodwin was joined by an expert panel of judges, including designers John Rocha, Jeff Banks, Sophie Conran, Oliver Heath, Nick Munro, David Domoney, Clarissa Hulse presenter and DIY expert Tommy Walsh and cookery writer, kitchen guru and presenter Mary Berry.
“We are delighted this range has been recognised by one of the best-selling home interest magazines, and thrilled we’ve won an award for the second year running, particularly as we achieved the Gold Award in the Category - beating the likes of Burbidge, Wren and Schuller. ” comments Mereway Sales and Marketing Director Graham Jones.
“We designed our Newark kitchen to be incredibly flexible, as well as beautiful. Graham adds, “Whilst a popular contemporary style, the Newark range lends itself to individual flair without the ‘top end’ price tag… an affordable designer kitchen that was a perfect choice for this category.”
Mereway were also shortlisted in two other of the other categories; Best Luxury Kitchen with their ultra-modern Segreto range and the Tambour Unit for Best Storage Product.
