Stunning new finishes for Segreto

Segreto painted and stained veneers

The latest door finishes from Mereway Kitchens mix and match the warmth of wood and classic neutrals with up to the minute contemporary styling. Four new hand-stained wood veneers and five hand painted veneer doors have been added to the hugely successful integrated door style, Segreto.

Italian for ‘secret’ or ‘hidden’, Segreto doors provide the perfect ergonomic shape for fingertips to grip comfortably and easily, whilst creating a smooth contemporary edge and a handleless feel for a design element that’s simply spectacular.

The new hand painted finishes vary from light, airy painted Chalk White and Caffe Latte through to deeper tones including Pumice, Truffle Matt and Anthracite. The hand stained veneers include natural, earthy Bleached Oak and Washed Oak on the lighter side and Seasoned Oak and Burnt Oak on the darker side. These doors comprise a striking textured horizontal grain that forms a naturally textured finish that is aesthetically stunning.

Segreto brings unique design possibilities and style flexibility as it’s specially designed to co-ordinate with a selection of other door colours and finishes. Available in both internal and external curves, coordinated plinths and complementing cabinet options for a perfectly coordinated look, and when combined with open display shelves in matching or contrasting cabinet finishes they really do offer a fresh, new take on the contemporary Cucina Colore collection.

Mereway Kitchens are one of the few remaining manufacturers in the UK that still have the traditional skills associated with hand finishing of this kind. What’s distinctive about the colours is that they imaginatively combine artisan finishing with extremely modern design to offer a seamless handleless look.
