...its all in the detail
Britain’s best loved kitchen manufacturer Mereway has pulled out the stops once again to create a visual treat for the kitchen industry, with a sumptuously shot video memorably showcasing its top of the range English Revival collection.
The focus this year is on the craftsmanship and attention to detail that is synonymous with both the Mereway brand and most particularly with its traditional English Revival kitchens.
In line with its campaign theme, ‘Living Life the Mereway’, the company has linked their flagship range with brand ambassadors Young & Norgate, designers of unique hand-crafted furniture, who share Mereway’s brand values of creativity, meticulous skill and commitment to only the highest quality.
Accordingly, the first image on the video is that of a Victorian style wooden rocking horse, lovingly carved by hand. As the work of love emerges, so images of beautiful English Revival kitchens emerge too, highlighting small but essential details such as dove tail jointed drawers. Finally, the finished work is revealed - a magnificent kitchen and a toy to be treasured - bringing to light the analogy of creating a timeless hand crafted masterpiece that will bring joy, pride and many years of pleasure.
Commenting on the video, Mereway Sales & Marketing Director Graham Jones said, “Last year we raised a smile with a video that featured a tank driving over one of our kitchens. The concept was inspired by a stunt created 25 years ago, with a car on top of kitchen cabinets to demonstrate the quality, strength and durability of our products. That video proved a great success, attracting a good deal of comment and over 3000 visitors viewing it on YouTube.
So many people have asked us what we would do this year that we decided to create another memorable story. The new approach is deliberately different and, we hope it will become even more popular than last year’s film.
We love it and we hope our customers and friends in the industry do too!”
